The “A. Cerruti” Villa Russiz Institution is a public body run by a Board of Directors comprising seven members who are appointed by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and by other local bodies. It is officially recognised as a Public Charitable Institution and supervises the welfare activity for minors as well as the management of the agricultural property, which also includes 35 hectares of D.O.C. hillside vineyards.
The educational activity of the Institution has been entrusted, in the course of the years, to several different religious congregations of nuns, each order, in turn, characterized by great spirit of abnegation; it is presently operated by the Congregation of the Daughters of Mary the Helper – Don Bosco. |
