Ribolla Gialla 2017 is Golden Star for Vinibuoni D'Italia

Ribolla Gialla 2017 was awarded the Golden Star in the 2019 Vinibuoni d'Italia guide, published by the Italian Touring Club and curated by Mario Busso and Alessandro Scorsone. Golden Star is awarded to wines of excellence for the quality, the pleasantness, the drinkability and the correspondence wine-vine-territory.
This wine has also earned the mention in  "Oggi le Corone le decido io" category. It is a side event that examines the same wines selected by Vinibuoni d'Italia commissions and submitted to experienced and accurate jury tasting, the jury is composed of sommeliers, journalists, producers and winelovers.

Villa Russiz Ribolla Gialla is able to express full Collio potential,it  is pale straw with greenish tints, pleasing bouquet with welvcoming nose with acacia and oak wood notes. Ideal with fried fish, fried in battert vegtables, tasty cheeses and seafood prepared with tomato. 

The Vinibuoni D'Italia Guide is inspired by the Italian wine making tradition and mainly wants to enhance the local roots, the territory and the typicality. Unique in Italian and international landscape, it is dedicated exclusively to wines from native grapes, that have been present on our peninsula for over 300 years. Furthermore, the kermesse mechanism is absolutely transparent and is based on a rigorous selection process. Over 80 tasters work together in 21 work commissions operating in their expertise region.
